Stowe is a wonderfully eclectic village that is home to a thriving arts community and exciting cultural happenings, about 65 miles from our cabins. Stroll through the village with many shops and restaurants. At 4,395 feet, Stowe's Mt. Mansfield is "literally" the high point of Vermont. This spectacular mountain forms the centerpiece of a region that is legitimately world famous for its outdoor activities and adventures.

More than 45 unique stores compete for your attention in this charming New England village and along the Stowe Mountain Road. You will find art, jewelry, nationally recognized crafts, handcrafted furniture, award winning Vermont specialty foods, clothing and sports equipment.

Though Stowe enjoys an international reputation as a winter destination, it is just as exciting in summer. Sparkling streams attract anglers, splashers, and paddlers. Horseback riders gallop through wildflower strewn meadows. Bikers and hikers take to the Recreation Path and to more challenging mountain trails as well. Stowe's golf and tennis offer challenges for newcomer and old pro alike.
